Our Work
WHAT WE DO
At Saving Forest, we empower farming communities through comprehensive agroforestry training and sustainable land management practices. Our mission is to restore degraded landscapes, improve food security, and uplift rural livelihoods by equipping farmers with the skills and resources they need to thrive. By fostering sustainable agricultural practices, farmers reclaim their independence, break the cycles of climate change, and rebuild food systems that are resilient and environmentally friendly. Through reforestation, soil conservation, and community-driven initiatives, we are creating a future where people and nature coexist harmoniously.
WHERE WE WORK
Saving Forest operates across key regions in Kenya, focusing on areas severely affected by deforestation and land degradation. Our primary projects are concentrated in communities within West Pokot and Uasin Gishu counties, where we implement reforestation, soil conservation, and community-based conservation practices. By partnering with local communities, schools, and governmental agencies, we are restoring ecosystems, improving biodiversity, and building climate resilience. Our work not only revitalizes natural environments but also empowers communities to sustain these efforts for future generations
WHY WE DO IT
